Police searching for Chiefs' Rashee Rice after alleged hit-and-run accident, per report

Dallas police are searching for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in connection with a Saturday evening catastrophic accident, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, Rice's vehicle crashed, according to the outlet.

The preliminary investigation found that a Chevrolet Corvette and Lamborghini driver were speeding in the far left lane and lost control, according to Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman.

Two drivers were treated at the crash site for minor injuries and two others were hospitalized while police identified the culprits.

Rice was named as the Corvette's driver on the police call sheet acquired by The Dallas Morning News.

Rice, a second-round pick by the Chiefs last year, was Patrick Mahomes' main receiver behind Travis Kelce in his debut season.

North Richland Hills native Rice, 23, attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in University Park, a Dallas suburb.

Rice, the Chiefs' second-round choice last year, excelled as Patrick Mahomes' second-leading receiver behind Travis Kelce.
