Paige Spiranac criticizes Chris DiMarco for complaining over a $2 million purse.

To the list of golf fans baffled by PGA Tour winner Chris DiMarco's seven-figure complaint, add Paige Spiranac.

DiMarco, a former Masters runner-up who competes on the PGA's Champions Tour for seasoned players, was recently questioned about the climate on the circuit around LIV Golf during an appearance on the podcast "GOLF's Subpar."

DiMarco, 55, stated, "We kind of hope that LIV buys the Champions Tour." Come on, let's play for some real money. Considering that we're getting $2 million, this is kind of a joke.

Last week at TPC Sawgrass, home of The Players Championship, there were perhaps seven guys who made more money than we did.

The prize for the Champions Tour's Hoag Classic event last week was $2 million, and Padraig Harrington took home $300,000.

The winner of an individual LIV Golf event takes home $4 million, while team winners divide a prize pool of approximately $3 million.

Even though DiMarco's comments could have been meant to be humorous, Spiranac and other members of the golf community found them offensive.

Over the course of his career, Chris DiMarco has earned over 22 million dollars. That figure does not include sponsorship money, the seasoned golf influencer (31), wrote on X on Wednesday.
