Old-fashioned, or rolled, oats provide a wonderful texture and keep their shape in your overnight oats. Oats cooked quickly will get soggy, therefore I don't advocate using them.  

Chia seeds: A small amount of chia seeds adds extra nutrients and a creamy, richer texture to these apple overnight oats.
